Serving, praying for, and ministering to some single moms!
This VIDEO shows what TFH did during the 2009 Mission Trip. It depicts an accurate picture of life in Poland and the ministry we will be doing. Please notice the large crucifix in front of the house next to the road. A VERY COMMON custom in Poland...Jesus hanging on a cross.
The trip involves teams from Alabama, Switzerland, Germany, and Sweden. We will be worshiping together, eating together, planning and working together each morning and evening. The TFH team will spend some alone time early each morning and late each night, to check-in with each other and pray.
Sleeping for ministry teams will be in a "school" setting (showers will be available). We will sleep in classrooms. Three meals a day will be provided.
A different ministry very close to Ruda Śląska in Mysłowice. The housing, urban setting, trains, and related societal problems are very familiar to our TFH Mission Teams. As you pray and consider serving, watch this video to ask the LORD for a heart for Polska.
"Well, we are expecting over 200 boys and girls to play soccer. So through this tournament, we want to spread the gospel to those who are lost, especially the young generation. We strongly believe that this is the time to reach the "14 and up generation". Watch this video about the 4/14 window, which King's Kids Poland is a partner. We also want to bless the poor and the needy. God showed my mom a big need among the single mothers who are in Ruda Slaska, who are regularly attending meetings and are bringing their kids for art's and crafts classes. The Director asked for help for the women, seeing that our club is "the only chance to change their lives". ---Greg Skrobarczyk
